Many families are eligible for government-funded childcare hours. If you plan to use funded hours, you'll need to apply for your eligibility code and reconfirm your details each term to ensure your funding continues without interruption.
If you're unsure which funding options may be available to your family, we're always happy to help point you in the right direction.
A one-off, non-refundable registration fee of £50 applies to families who are paying privately or combining funded and private childcare hours.
This fee helps cover the administrative costs associated with setting up your child's place at Emmy's Day Nursery.
In line with government regulations, families attending solely through fully funded childcare hours are not charged a registration fee.
To help us provide the best possible experience for every child, families are invited to contribute £5 per day towards consumables.
This contribution helps cover the cost of:
* Nutritious meals and snacks
* Nappies and wipes
* Arts, crafts, and learning materials
* Special activities and experiences
These resources help us create the warm, engaging, home-from-home environment that Emmy's Day Nursery is known for.
To secure your child's place, the following deposits apply:
Private-paying families: £300 deposit
Part-funded families: £100 deposit
Provided all fees are up to date, deposits will be deducted from your child's final invoice.
In line with government regulations, families attending on a fully funded basis only are not required to pay a deposit or registration fee.
Payments are due monthly in advance on the 1st of each month.
If you're experiencing any difficulties with payment, please speak to us as soon as possible. We're always happy to discuss concerns and work with families wherever we can.
Where fees remain unpaid, this may affect any discounts that apply to your account, restrict access to additional sessions or hours, and incur a late payment charge of £10 per week until the outstanding balance has been cleared.
If your child is leaving Emmy's Day Nursery, we kindly ask for one full calendar month's written notice.
Where notice is not provided, the remaining notice period will be charged at the applicable private fee rate.
